India all-rounder Vijay Shankar has become the talk of the town since the recent past after giving a couple of brilliant performance for the Men in Blue. The latest example of this is his performance against Australia in the 2nd ODI, in which he slammed a 41-ball 46-run knock, and took 2 crucial wickets in the last over where he needed to defend just 11 runs.
While every Indian fan is now sure that the Tamil Nadu cricketer will be going to the 2019 World Cup, Vijay Shankar said, “I’ve said previously also that I never think about the selection or World Cup thing because it’s a long way off from now. Every game is very important. I just look to give my best and win a game for the team.”
“To be honest the Nidahas Trophy has taught me too many things. Actually, I learnt to how to stay neutral after that. Be it high or low, it doesn’t matter. I need to stay calm and neutral all the time.”
