Pakistan ready to counter BCCI at the ICC meet, says PCB official

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has clarified that it doesn’t want to play Pakistan at the 2019 World Cup, and has also requested ICC to sever ties with terror-backing nations.

However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that it has “prepared a counter” if the BCCI opts to not play the match against Pakistan on June 16 at the World Cup.

Speaking about the ICC meet that takes place on Wednesday (February 27), a PCB official was quoted as saying, “Pakistan’s stance is that if India wants to give a walkover, it can’t do anything about it. But it will pose a question as to what happens if both countries again qualify to meet each other in the knockout stages.”
