After finding them in violation of these rules, FIFA bans Chelsea FC from next two transfer windows

FIFA have banned Chelsea FC for the next two transfer windows on Friday after the Premier League club was found to be in violation of rules regarding the signing of players under the age of 18 years.

In their statement, FIFA also informed that they have slapped a fine worth 460,800 pounds on ‘the Blues’, giving them a period of 90 days to “regularise the situation”.

Chelsea was initially charged with breaches of article 19 in respect of 92 players. However, FIFA later found no violation in 63 of those cases. A statement released by Chelsea said, “The club is extremely disappointed that FIFA has not accepted the club’s submissions in relation to the remaining 29 players.”
