I-League champions miss out on the clash against Real Kashmir FC after Pulwama attack

I-League champions Minerva Punjab FC were slated to play a fixture against the Kashmir-based Real Kashmir FC on Monday, but didn’t show up due to security concerns following 14th February’s Pulwama attack in J&K and approached the Delhi High Court to shift the match out of Srinagar.

Chaos ensued as the Real Kashmir team, staff and match officials had reached the venue well ahead of time, but with the Minerva side not showing up, the match was cancelled.
