MS Dhoni’s presence crucial for the 2019 World Cup, says Yuvraj Singh

It’s been a while that Yuvraj Singh has fallen out of favour of the Indian cricket team, but the veteran has his hopes alive for the upcoming mega-event – the 2019 World Cup – that starts from May 30.

Yuvraj Singh said in an interview on Saturday that MS Dhoni will be an asset for the Indian team owing to the former captain’s high cricketing IQ. He said, “I think Mahi [Dhoni] has a great cricket brain. And as a wicketkeeper, you are in the best position to monitor the game. He has been a great captain. [He is] with the young players and guiding Virat [Kohli] all the time. So, I feel his presence is very important in decision-making.”
