Addressing the hot-blooded debate about who is a better T20 batsman out of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh gave his valuable insights into both the players’ style of play and dominance.
Speaking in an interview with Sports Tak, Harbhajan said, “That’s a tricky question. Rohit Sharma is supremely talented while Virat Kohli is a hard-working cricketer. Maybe, Kohli is not as talented as Rohit but his hard work and passion has taken him to where he is right now. So, it’s tough for me to pick who’s a better batsman. I will not be able to answer this question. But both play for India, that’s what matters.”
Rohit Sharma’s prolific performance against New Zealand in the 2nd T20I not only got India the much-needed win, but also landed the stand-in captain among the greats, and in some cases, even beyond the greats – as he went on to break several T20 records.
