Body recovered from plane carrying Emiliano Sala and David Ibbotson

The plane carrying Cardiff City new signing Emiliano Sala that had gone missing a week ago, was found a couple of days ago 67 metres underwater 21 miles off the coast of Guernsey in the English Channel, with a body being spotted in the fuselage of the aircraft.

However, the latest development came on Thursday when it was reported by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) that the body has been recovered from out of the aircraft.

It has not been identified, however, as to whether the body is of the footballer or the pilot David Ibbotson. AAIB reported that the body has been sent to Portland to be examined by the Dorset coroner.
