India’s tour of New Zealand kick-started on 23rd January with a five-match ODI series that has been wrapped up by the visitors 3-0 by both hands. With the final two ODIs remaining to be played and India looking to get a whitewash, New Zealand all-rounder Mitchell Santner was well aware with the challenge the Kiwis are going to face.
Speaking about the Indian team, Santner said, “We have been outplayed in all three games. It’s been a little bit disappointing to lose three games in a row but we are playing a very good side.”
The 26-year-old also praised the Indian batsmen, saying, “They obviously hate getting out – just got to find ways to try and get wickets.”
