The DLH vs JHA squads will be packed with firepower, as has become clearly evident in India’s List A domestic cricket’s current season so far. Speaking about Delhi’s last clash, which had come against Haryana, it was due to the excellent bowling performances by Kulwant Khejroliya and Navdeep Saini that Delhi defeated their neighbouring state with a margin of 5 wickets.

Haryana had chosen to bat after winning the toss, and the main reason for their tragic exit from the playoffs was the 6-wicket haul by Kulwant Khejroliya, who only gave out 31 runs in his spell of 10 overs. On the other hand, Navdeep Saini also took 3 wickets, giving 39 insignificant runs. And although Haryana totalled 229 runs despite of the excellent bowling spells, in reply, Delhi batsmen Gautam Gambhir and Dhruv Shorey completed the task fairly easily.

While Team India veteran Gautam Gambhir scored a 72-ball 104, Dhruv Shorey chipped in with a half century of his own. Unmukt Chand, the opener had fell cheaply, but given the steady partnerships by the remaining batsmen of the Delhi side, the team sealed a comfortable victory with 10 overs to spare.

As we are speaking about the DLH vs JHA squads in this section, it is also necessary to look at Jharkhand’s performance in the Quarter Finals. In a rain-affected match, it was Jharkhand’s Anukul Roy who took a four-wicket haul to bundle out Maharashtra at a total of 181. And although their batting started out slow, there was little to worry with such a low-target to chase.

Owing to Shasheem Rathour’s unbeaten 81-ball 53, Jharkhand managed to reach 127 for a loss of 2 in 32.2 overs, when the rain stopped the play, taking the result into Jharkhand’s favour, and booking them a date with Delhi in the 2nd Semi Final on October 18.
