Of special importance is the footballing intelligentsia that will be present at the refresher course event. It will blow apart the Indian football news headlines, when the ISL coaches get to meet the Spanish national team coach Luis Enrique, the technical staff of the Premier League giants Manchester City, including Mikel Arteta, Luis Garcia, Arsenal head coach Unai Emery, Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino and Javi Gracía. More than 600 coaches from the world over are expected to take part in the course.
There will be a UEFA continuing education course as well, which will be held on October 8 and 9 at La Ciudad del Fútbol, i.e. the Spanish FA’s training facility present in Las Rozas de Madrid. The speakers at the opening ceremony will be the UEFA’s football education services head Frank Rudolph, and RFEF president Luis Rubiales.
