With the 1st Semi-Final of the English T20 Blast 2018 slated to take place on September 15, it will be imperative for cricket fans and followers of the tournament to follow the Lancashire vs Worcestershire live cricket score on match-day. However, what would be even more important and what could pay a cricket fan huge dividends is the option to access Lancashire vs Worcestershire live streaming (LAN vs WOR live streaming) and LAN vs WOR TV Channel.

Lancashire vs Worcestershire live streaming (LAN vs WOR live streaming): Sony LIV or Hotstar

LAN vs WOR TV Channel: Sony, Star

While many cricket fans will be looking forward to follow the LAN vs WOR T20, i.e 1st Semi-Final of English T20 Blast 2018, through the Lancashire vs Worcestershire live streaming (LAN vs WOR live streaming) and LAN vs WOR TV Channel options, there is no confirmed information on whether the Lancashire vs Worcestershire live streaming (LAN vs WOR live streaming) and LAN vs WOR TV Channel will be available on either of the above mentioned, mainstream broadcasters.

While the English T20 Blast 2018 live streaming was so far available on Sony LIV, i.e. the digital wing of Sony, it seems dicy if the platform will continue with the Vitality T20 Blast live streaming in the playoff stage of the tournament, which includes the Lancashire vs Worcestershire live streaming (LAN vs WOR live streaming) and LAN vs WOR TV Channel.

What will make the joy of following the 1st Semi-final live streaming tenfold, and the pain of the absence of the 1st Semi-Final live streaming even more acute, is the fact that these two teams have faced each other twice in the English T20 Blast 2018, before entering the 1st Semi-Final against each other. Let us look at their head to head record before these teams face each other for a very crucial fixture, i.e. 1st Semi-Final LAN vs WOR T20.

Lancashire vs Worcestershire head to head, LAN vs WOR T20, 1st Semi-Final

Lancashire and Worcestershire were slated to play each other twice in the whole duration of the tournament, excluding the playoff fixtures. The first time that these sides came face to face in English T20 Blast 2018 was on July 5, which was just the second day of the tournament. The result of that clash had gone to Worcestershire, who defeated Lancashire 5 wickets to claim their maiden victory of the season.

Lancashire had opened the innings in that clash against Worcestershire, and although their batsmen displayed great strike rates, they somewhere fell short in the score-building section. After the opening batsmen Alex Davies and captain Liam Livingstone were dismissed cheaply for 20 and 35 respectively, it was England star batsman Keaton Jennings who anchored the team’s batting in the middle by scoring a 33-ball 50.

And as Jennings got bowled after completing his half-century by Luke Wood, it was Jordan Clark who furthered Lancashire’s scoreline by hitting 25 runs at a strike rate of 192, which also included two sixes. At the end of the 20 overs, Lancashire had their heads held high with a total score of 188.

When Worcestershire came in to bat, all that Lancashire needed was a bit of bowling control and match-winning temperament. And even though New Zealand veteran Martin Guptill opened the innings with a breezy 19, he was put to rest by Joe Mennie. Although none of the Worcestershire batsmen scored a half-century like Lancashire’s Jennings, it was due to the solid contribution by the middle order that enabled Worcestershire to clinch the victory.

Led by opener Joe Clarke’s 42, Worcestershire batsmen scored double figures each, to ensure the team’s win. Callum Ferguson scored a 21-ball 35, Ben Cox scored 19, Ross Whiteley scored 28 and it was the team’s young captain Brett D’Oliveira and finisher Ed Barnard, who scored 37 and 4 unbeaten, to pip Lancashire by 5 wickets with one ball remaining to be bowled.

The second clash between these teams was slated to take place on July 29, but was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to bad weather and rains.

It would be worth the watch and the wait to follow these two teams’ 1st Semi-Final clash on September 15 in Birmingham, through Lancashire vs Worcestershire live streaming (LAN vs WOR live streaming) and LAN vs WOR TV Channel.
