In latest cricket news, Indian captain Virat Kohli has regained the number 1 rank in Test cricket following his Man of the Match performance in the 3rd Test match against England. The 29-year-old scored replicated his total from 1st Test match of 200 runs scoring 97 runs in the 1st innings and 103 runs in the 2nd innings.

Kohli, who is now the second most successful Indian Test captain is also the leading run-scorer in 2018 having scored 726 runs with an average of over 60. Due to his performances over the past few, Kohli hasn’t only become an inspiration for players from not only India but across the world.
Pakistani batsman Fakhar Zaman is the latest player to join the Virat Kohli fan club. The 28-year-old believes that apart from admiring Kohli for his consistency, there is a lot in his game that young players can learn from.
Speaking to Skysports this week, Fakhar Zaman said,“There is no doubt that Virat Kohli is a world-class player who sets a fine example for all to follow with his hard work and his batting. I for one really enjoy watching Virat Kohli bat and I feel that I learn a lot by watching this master batsman at work.”

Fakhar Zaman might have made his international debut only in 2017 but in the 18 ODIs that he has played, he has already broken quite a few records, including becoming the 1st Pakistani batsman to score 200 runs in an ODI, which he achieved earlier this year in a series against Zimbabwe.
In his short career, Zaman has already made a difference for Pakistan, scoring that vital hundred in the Champions Trophy Final last year against India. He will come up against the arch-rivals once again next month when India and Pakistan meet in the Asia Cup being conducted in the UAE.
