FC Pune City announced the signing of Matt Mills ahead of ISL 2018-19 season on their Twitter page and sent waves in the Indian football latest news and ISL transfer news. As reported in Indian football news by Sportskeeda, Mills was roped in by FC Pune City from Barnsley at the end of the 2017/18 season of League One, which allowed him to join the ISL team on a free transfer.

Making waves in ISL transfer news, FC Pune City wrote, “With valuable experience under his belt, he is a welcome addition in the heart of our defence Welcome to FC Pune City Matt Mills.”

The 32-year-old has played for a number of English football sides, such as Doncaster Rovers, Reading, Barnsley, Leicester City, Bolton, and Nottingham Forest. Speaking with the FC Pune City media, Matt Mills spoke about his aspirations and goals that he will be chasing in the ISL 2018-19 season. As reported in Indian football news, Matt Mills said,
