As reported in Indian football news, the tournament will be played from August 1 to August 9, and will give the U-16 Indian football players enough time to take down the notes and teachings ahead of the AFC U-16 championship which is slated to begin from September 20.
The AFC U-16 championship which will be run from September 20 to October 7, 2018, will be held in different cities of Malaysia, and the U-16 Indian football players will leave for Kuala Lumpur as a team on September 5.
If India U-16 manage to perform well in the AFC U-16 championship and reach even the semifinal stage (which will be an achievement in itself for India football), then that would equate to their qualification for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, which is scheduled to take place in Peru in 2019, as per Indian football latest news.
