Chelsea arrived in Australia yesterday (July 19) to start their pre-season under Maurizio Sarri. The Blues have endured a turbulent last few weeks but slowly things seem to be looking up for the London club now that Antonio Conte has finally been sacked and a new manager confirmed. Chelsea FC Transfer News have been all over the paper over the last month, as the uncertainty in the managerial post led to massive Chelsea FC Transfer Rumours regarding some of their star players. In this article, we will look at the top Chelsea transfer rumours and Chelsea FC Latest News that have made it to leading media outlets over the past 24 hours.

Chelsea Latest News – Chelsea looking to push for €90m rated Pjanic

Chelsea FC Latest Transfer News surrounds Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic, who has just got a new agent, Fali Ramadani, who is known to have a very close connection with some of the top Premier League clubs. As per Italian newspaper, Tuttosport, Juventus value Pjanic at around €80m to €90m, something which could drive the interested club away from approaching the Italian giants.

Barcelona and Manchester City are the other two clubs interested in signing the 28-year-old but according to the latest Chelsea Football Transfer News, the Blues are currently front-runners to get the player, if they can manage to cough up the required amount.
Pjanic was recently asked by media personals regarding his future in Turin, and the midfielder refused to make a comment leading to further rumours surrounding his departure. If Juventus don’t sell him this summer, they could look to offer him a contract extension on his current deal which expires in 2021.

Chelsea FC Latest Transfer News – Sarri looking to bring in Pepe Reina from AC Milan

Pepe Reina who spent quite a few seasons in the English Premier League playing for Liverpool has over the few days become a transfer target for Chelsea, who are desperately looking to replace the Real Madrid bound Thibaut Courtois.

Reina moved to AC Milan from Napoli on the free transfer this summer but it is understood that he is one of the favourites of new manager Maurizio Sarri and Milan would be more than willing to get him off his books if the right offers comes in for him.

The sale of Pepe Reina could also depend hugely on Gigio Donnarumma, who is also being targetted by Chelsea this summer. If Donnarumma does decide to move away from AC Milan but not to Chelsea, the Blues could be forced to go for their number 2 keeper or maybe look somewhere else.

Latest Chelsea Transfer Rumours have linked both Petr Cech with a move back to Stamford Bridge and even Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, who was just brilliant in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Chelsea Transfer Update – Bakayoko could be on his way to Inter Milan

It’s no secret that Tiémoué Bakayoko’s future at Chelsea is looking very bleak at the moment, the midfielder is seen as a surplus to requirement by Sarri, which could easily lead to him being sold off this summer in order to ease the wage demand on the London club.

As per Chelsea FC Latest News, Inter Milan could move in Bakayoko this summer if they can’t manage to price away Arturo Vidal for Bayern Munich. French media outlet Le10 Sport has been reporting this week that Inter have joined the likes of Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund and are strongly considering the possibility of bringing the French international to Italy this summer and give him respite from what has been an uncomfortable one year for Bakayoko at Stamford Bridge.

Sevilla was looking to sign Bakayoko on a loan deal but as per Chelsea FC Latest News, no contact has been made between the English and the Spanish club. It’s not clear at the moment, whether Inter are looking for a permanent deal or a loan move but the reports till now suggest that it could be the latter, which would in some ways be perfect for Bakayoko as he looks for more game time in the coming season.

Chelsea Transfer News – Willian and Hazard inching closer to a move to Barcelona this summer

With Antonio Conte departing from Stamford Bridge last week, many would have thought that the situation at Chelsea would settle down under Sarri. However, it is now emerging that some of the top players like Eden Hazard and Willian from Chelsea are still very much keen to move away this summer, mainly in order to compete for the Champions League.

Real Madrid are clearly interested in bringing Neymar to Santiago Bernabeu this summer, even though Eden Hazard has made it clear where his preferred destination is. Willian, on the other hand, believes that after spending 6 seasons at Chelsea, it’s time to take up a new challenge, and as per latest Chelsea transfer rumours, the Brazilian will be more than willing to follow in the footsteps of his compatriots Neymar and Coutinho to Barcelona.

Sarri spoke recently in a press conference and confirmed that he would like some of the stars looking to move away from Chelsea to spend a week in training with him and have a face to face meeting before deciding on their future. Both Willian and Hazard are currently enjoying a summer break after a hectic World Cup in Russia and are not expected to return to Chelsea for at least 7-10 days.
