Unai Emery’s revolution at Arsenal is gathering steam as the 2018-2019 season comes closer and closer. Arsenal Transfer News 2018 – Emil Forsberg offers hope to Arsenal 

Swedish midfielder Emil Forsberg has opened the door for his exit from German club RB Leipzig after he said, “I’m ready for the next big step. That’s going to be very interesting. I have the dream of playing for the strongest clubs in the world.”
The 26-year-old midfielder has made quite a name for himself in the Bundesliga and could be a perfect fit at the Emirates. Having joined RB Leipzig back in 2015, Forsberg’s performances have been improving on a steady rate, which has brought a lot of attention towards from some of the top clubs in Europe.  He is currently on contract with the German club till 2022 but according to reports, he has refused to sign on a new deal and is looking to move this summer. Forsberg is currently part of Sweden’s national squad the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Arsenal Transfer News – Gunners on alert as Shakhtar’s Bernard becomes a free agent

Brazilian winger Bernard has announced that he will be leaving Shakhtar Donetsk after he contract expired with the Ukrainian club after joining them in 2013 from Atletico Mineiro in a deal worth £22m. At that time, Arsenal were one of the clubs interested in his signing but the 25-year-old decided to join Shakhtar.

In his 5 seasons in Ukraine, Bernard has managed to score 28 goals in 157 games, including 10 last season. He also scored in Shakhtar’s 2-1 win over Manchester City in the group stages of 2017-2018 UEFA Champions League campaign.

With him now a free-agent, he would be a very cheap transfer target but it’s only Arsenal, who are interested in getting him to the Premier League, with clubs like Liverpool and Tottenham too interested in him. There are also reports that he is a transfer target for the likes of AC Milan, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund.
With Emery looking to overhaul the squad this summer, Bernard would be the perfect player to fit in his plans, as he can not only play as a winger but has the ability to play as an attacking central midfielder.

Arsenal Latest Transfer Rumours – Steven Nzonzi moving closer to Arsenal

According to recent Arsenal Transfer Rumours, Steven Nzonzi is edging closer to the move to the Emirates this summer, with reports emerging that Sevilla have already identified a replacement for the midfielder, who is currently with the French national team at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Nzonzi has played for Stoke City in the past in the Premier League and will be aware of the change in the physicality of the game between Spain and England. He has also worked with Unai Emery in the past and has won Europa League under him. It is understood that Emery is a big admirer of the defensive midfielder and has asked the Spanish club about his availability.

Nzonzi has turned into a fantastic midfielder in his last three years in Spain and is highly sought after by some of the top clubs in Europe. If he does move to the Emirates, he could solve Arsenal’s long-running problem of a defensive midfielder, that the club has suffered from ever since Patrick Vieira left the club.
