Pogba has not been given the freedom to operate under Jose Mourinho which hampered his performances in the 2017/18 season after a decent 2016/17 season. Pogba’s last campaign was marred with injuries and conflict of opinions with Jose Mourinho which has sparked strong rumours of Pogba quitting Old Trafford after just 2 seasons if Man United manage to get a sizable offer for the French midfielder. At present, only Juventus have shown any interest in signing Pogba but it will cost the Serie A Champions anything between 60-90million pounds which isn’t their way of doing transfer business.

“I’ve always had a really good relationship with Paul, both when he was here and after he left to move to England. I got along very well with him on the field too and there was a good feeling between us on the park.

“We liked to have fun and always enjoyed creating new celebrations, like we did when we touched our fingers after watching Dragon Ball Z. Away from pitch, we are very close too so if he came back, it would also make me happy for our friendship too.”

Manchester United say NO to Pogba’s departure

Despite reports from Forza Italian signaling for a move for Pogba’s exit this summer, Manchester United have clearly stated that Pogba is on top of their plans for next season and he will be the pivot around which the team will be built. Jose Mourinho has already signed the Brazilian midfielder Fred to help Pogba find his form this season and impact more games for the club than he did last season. According to number, Paul Pogba had a very good 2016/17 season and all the United fans would be hoping to see him replicate that same form or go even better next season. Next step for Pogba is to have a decent 2018 FIFA World Cup where he will be the main man for France and would carry the national side to the deep end of the competition. A good FIFA World Cup for Pogba would mean a lot to the Man United fans as he would return with full of confidence and will start the new season on a high.
