According to Manchester United Latest News, Fred completed his medical yesterday at Man United’s Carrington training base and then teamed up with Brazil’s national team training camp where Fred was congratulated by his national teammates including Neymar and Willian. Neymar himself is in the middle of a heated transfer battle between Real Madrid and PSG with major media outlets claiming that the Brazilian will join Real Madrid following his World Cup campaign. However, Neymar was quick to congratulate Fred for completing his move to Old Trafford as the pair was seen hugging in the middle of a training session soon after Fred’s arrival. Fred has received a positive word from his peers after joining Manchester United for a reported fee of £47million with his former manager Mircea Lucescu and teammate Willian wishing him all the luck to succeed in the Premier League.
Lucescu said: “I’m really pleased Fred has completed his transfer to Manchester United.
“When I signed him at Shakhtar, Taison and Bernard were playing in his position. I transformed his position, giving him a more defensive role.”

Fred was not the only signing Manchester United finalized last night, the club also completed the medicals for one of the most talented right-backs in European football, FC Porto’s Diogo Dalot. According to reports, Dalot will join Man United for a transfer fee of £19million and will be an understudy to Antonio Valencia. Signing Fred and Dalot for a combined fee of £65million is seen as a good bit of business by Ed Woodward’s team as they look to sign 2-3 more players in order to catch Manchester City for the Premier League title next season.
