Rashid Khan and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH team 2018) pulled off a stunning win against Mumbai Indians last night where they were defending 118 and yet won by 31 runs. Rashid Khan IPL 2018 was named man of the match for his incredible spell of 11/2 from his 4 overs in the IPL 2018 MI vs SRH clash which also included a maiden over. Rashid’s maiden over was against Hardik Pandya in the 17th over, which put an immense pressure on Mumbai Indians and ultimately they were bowled out for just 81.

IPL Rashid Khan led the way for SRH team 2018 as they defended the lowest ever total on the Indian soil in IPL cricket. Rashid picked up the wickets of Krunal Pandya and Kieron Pollard to break Mumbai’s momentum in an initially meager looking run chase. In his post-match conference, Rashid Khan IPL 2018 explained why he is not like the other leg spinners and why despite having 2 bad matches in a row, he was confident of making a strong comeback.

Commenting on his Man of the Match performance, IPL Rashid Khan said: “The main thing is that I am a little bit different than other leg spinners bowling quicker than others because of the quick arm action which makes it difficult to judge which way the ball is going. Compared to the last 2 games where I bowled a bit fuller today I bowled in the good length area which helped me get good figures in the match today.”

Rashid Khan was full of praise for his skipper Kane Williamson

Rashid Khan IPL 2018 gave his captain Kane Williamson all the credit for Sunrisers Hyderabad’s win in the IPL 2018 MI vs SRH game just for the manner in which he kept the team motivated and gave them the belief that they can defend the total of 118. Kane Williamson kept saying the SRH team 2018 that if their team could not pos a big total, there is no way Mumbai can do the same. Williamson kept his belief in his bowlers and backed their skill, set his field according to their bowler’s strengths and got the due reward. Earlier in the day, Williamson batted beautifully (29 runs) and was the joint top-scorer for SRH team along with Yusuf Pathan.
