Focussing on the batsman can put extra pressure on the bowler says Shivam Mavi
In the middle of the conversation with the KKR team 2018 players, Boria Majumdar asked both Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagarkoti, how they will deal with players like Virat Kohli, who the pair are scheduled to face in the very first match of the season. Shivam Mavi was quick to respond, he said, “I will not think about the batsman, I will just be thinking about the practice and plans that we have made before the match. If I focus too much on the batsman, the extra pressure will come on my head and I rather focus on my strengths.”
KKR IPL 11 campaign will start on 9th April with a home match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. This year the KKR 2018 squad will be led by the first-time captain Dinesh Karthik, who recently played a blinder of a knock to seal an almost impossible win against Bangladesh in Nidahas Trophy Final.
