DELHI DAREDEVILS ROSTER 2018, DELHI DAREDEVILS TEAM LIST 2018, DD IN IPL 2018, DELHI DAREDEVILS TEAM LIST, IPL 2018 DD TEAM, DELHI DAREDEVILS OWNER
Delhi Daredevils will look to turn a new leaf in the Indian Premier League when they start their campaign on 8th April against Kings XI Punjab. Despite having some of the best T20 players grace their team over the years, Delhi Daredevils roster hasn’t ever managed to make full use of their resources and have faltered at key moments. Delhi Daredevils team 2018 will enter the new season with confidence rather than hope after a very successful IPL 2018 auction. The Delhi Daredevils roster 2018 will have 2-time IPL winning captain Gautam Gambhir leading them this time. The Delhi Daredevils team list 2018 is filled with some true T20 stars in the form of Glenn Maxwell, Colin Munro and Dan Christian. Young players like Rishabh Pant and Kagiso Rabada will also be featuring for DD in IPL 2018. Delhi Daredevils owner will be hoping that the return of local boy Gambhir and the purchase of such high-quality T20 players can lift the team’s game and help them lift their maiden IPL title.
The Delhi Daredevils roster also features players like Trent Boult, Shreyas Iyer, Shahbaz Nadeem and Jason Roy. Delhi Daredevils have always failed to live upto the preseason hype, however, this time the Delhi Daredevils team list 2018 looks to have balanced look about it and should be capable of going at least to the knockout round.
Delhi Daredevils Roster 2018, Delhi Daredevils Team 2018
It would be fair to say that the Delhi Daredevils roster 2018 and Delhi Daredevils team list 2018 looks far stronger than any of the previous squads that they have assembled. Delhi Daredevils owner will feel that Gautam Gambhir who was instrumental in changing KKR’s fortune can do same for the Delhi franchise. One feels that the 3 players retained in the Delhi Daredevils team list 2018 would benefit the team in the long run and can form the core of the team for years to come.
Another player who performance will be closely watched is Under-19 World Cup winning captain Prithvi Shaw. The youngster has impressed hugely in the junior levels and will hope to contribute to the DD’s success this year. He will be joined by his Under-19 teammate Manjot Kalra.

Among the foreign players in the Delhi Daredevils roster 2018, Glenn Maxwell will be the main attraction. While Colin Munro Delhi Daredevils roster 2018 has the world’s current number 1 batsman. Both these players will be essential to the team’s success in the upcoming. Chris Morris who was retained by the franchise will be a key component in the Delhi Daredevils team 2018. The Delhi Daredevils owner might have played a great card by retaining the services of one of the best all-rounders in world cricket right now. Unfortunately for Delhi Daredevils, South African speedster Kagiso Rabada was ruled out of IPL 2018 and Delhi Daredevils roster 2018 after suffering a back injury. Trent Boult is expected to take his place in the playing 11, while the management will work on bringing a replacement. Jason Roy and Daniel Christian are other two players who might come in handy for the Delhi Daredevils as the tournament progresses. Christian has often found it difficult to be consistent on a regular basis but that doesn’t change from the fact that the Australian is a very talented all-rounder with an ability to hit some big hits in the death over. Along with his batting and bowling, Christian is also a terrific fielder, something IPL team’s always keep in mind now when picking their team.
Jason Roy has enjoyed a lot of success over the last 2 years and has quickly turned into a very good limited-over format player. His place in the playing 11 is still not confirmed but if he does manage to get a chance, he needs to grab it by both hands and make a place in the playing 11 permanent,
Delhi Daredevils Owner
Delhi Daredevils were part of the original group of 8 teams that were formed in 2008. The property development group GMR Group purchased the franchise for a sum of US$84 million through its branch GMR Sports. Credit has to be given to the GMR Group for sticking by their team for 10 years even though the results didn’t go their way always.
However, a day after announcing Gautam Gambhir as their captain, the Delhi Daredevils owner decided to sell 50% stake in Delhi Daredevils to JSW Sports for ₹550 crore (US$84 million). The two co-owners will now be hoping that this new partnership brings the much needed good luck to the team in the IPL.
