Hero Super Cup 2018: Blues boss Albert Roca reckons Bengaluru FC’s season is not over yet

  • Bengaluru FC lost the ISL 2018 Final recently to Chennaiyin FC by the scoreline of 3-2.
  • They will take on Gokulam Kerala in the pre-quarter stage of the Hero Super Cup 2018.
  • Bengaluru FC manager Albert Roca has made it clear that his teams season is still not over and they have much to compete for.

After finishing at the top of the Indian Super League (ISL) league table, Bengaluru FC suffered a huge disappointment in the final against Chennaiyin FC. The 2-time I-League winners stumbled to a 3-2 win against Chennaiyin FC but will now look to win their 1st trophy of the season in the Hero Super Cup 2018, as the team manager Albert Roca reckons the season is not yet over for Bengaluru FC. The Indian Super Cup 2018 is the latest tournament introduced in the AIFF calendar. It’s a knockout format involving the 10 teams from both ISL and I-League.

Bengaluru FC have managed to win two I-League and two Federation cups since it’s inception in 2014 but currently going through a trophy-less something that will not make the fans happy. Albert Roca and his men will now need to forget the disappointment of the ISL final and shift their focus on the Hero Super Cup 2018.
