The 2018 Deodhar Trophy is an (fifty over) ODI domestic cricket tournament in India which is named after Prof. D. B. Deodhar, famously known as the Grand Old Man of Indian cricket. The Deodhar Trophy 2018 is played between three teams – India A, India B, and the winners of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, i.e. Karnataka. The Deodhar Trophy 2018 is the 45th edition of the domestic cricket tournament, and will take place from March 4 to March 8 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium (HPCA).

Deodhar Trophy’s 2018 edition is the 45th season of the Deodhar Trophy; It will be played in a three-team format between the winners of 2018 Vijay Hazare Trophy (Karnataka), and two teams (India Red, India Blue or India A and India B) selected by the BCCI. Deodhar Trophy 2018 features four matches, three matches in the round-robin format between three teams, and top two sides with the most number of points will play in the final.

POINTS TABLE AND TEAM STANDINGS

The deodhar trophy 2018 team standings and points table is updated by the BCCI. The points and ranking system follows the below criteria:

  • 4 points are awarded to the winning team
  • 2 points per team if match ends with no result or as a draw
  • 0 points awarded to the losing team
