Unlike Yuvraj Singh’s first hat-trick which ended in his team’s defeat, Yuvraj’s second Indian Premier League hat-trick came in IPL 2009 against the Deccan Chargers where he got the prized wickets of Herschelle Gibbs, Andrew Symonds, and Venugopal Rao and helped his team to a 1-run win.

His hat-trick saw him register his best ever IPL figures (30/5) and pick his 100th IPL wicket.

5). Axar Patel (1 Hat-trick in 59 matches)

Unlike the previous hat-tricks in our selection, Axar Patel’s hat-trick against Gujarat Lions had a different flavor about as the left-arm spinner picked his wickets early in the innings and it was a broken hat-trick as well. Axar dismissed Dinesh Karthik and Dwayne Bravo in the 8th over of the innings and then came back to pick Ravindra Jadeja’s wicket on the first ball of the 11th over to complete his hat-trick.
