Cristiano Ronaldo humiliated by Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo’s stocks at Real Madrid are on a steep decline after the club President has reacted angrily to his claims of leaving the club after being unhappy with the treatment he has received at the club.

The news has been confirmed by the Spanish journal El Confidential, who believe that Ronaldo’s lack of form has brought him resentment from the top hierarchy at Real Madrid.

Throughout the week, there have been news of a possible reunion between Ronaldo and Manchester United which has been put off Real Madrid who have reportedly told Ronaldo that he will only leave when the club decided to sell him.

As per the reports, Ronaldo is not happy with the difference in treatment Lionel Messi gets at Barcelona and what Ronaldo is given at Santiago Bernabeu. For long, Ronaldo has wanted to be the “Messi of Real Madrid” but every time the club has decided to put Ronaldo in his place.

The most recent chapter of this saga came when both players were accused of tax fraud and where Barcelona, on one hand, went out of the way to support Messi, Real Madrid decided to distance themselves with any possible controversy.

The lack of support did not go well with Ronaldo who is now a disgruntled figure at the club and wants out with Manchester United being his preferred destination. Ronaldo is still a cult figure at Manchester United and the fans adore him and would take him back with open arms, but Perez has other ideas.

According to El Confidential, Perez wants to include Ronaldo in a player+ cash deal to sign PSG superstar Neymar next summer. Having put a check on Ronaldo’s antics for now, it will be interesting to see if the Portuguese superstar can regain his form and guide Real Madrid to a Champions League finish in the La Liga table.

Real Madrid are currently 4th in the league and trail Barcelona by 19 points and have an 8-point deficit against Valencia who occupy the 3rd and final Champions League place from Spain’s La Liga.
